November's Point of the Month:
Point Conception Light, California

This photograph captures the essence of airborne sightseeing! These Cubs flew over the Point Conception Light during the West Coast Piper Cub Fly-in. Beautiful photos like this always make me want to fly over the spot myself!

The lighthouse was established in 1856 and still houses the original Fresnel lens. Sorry, it is not open to the public, so you'll have to see it from a distance. (Its coordinates appear on page 260 of the California GPS Companion.)
