January's Point of the Month:
Whistling Straits Golf Course, Wisconsin

This new course required 13,000 truckloads of sand to make the shore of lake Michigan look like coastal Ireland or Scotland. It has been rated no. 37 in the nation by Golf magazine and will be the site of the 2004 PGA championship. The photo is from the 13th hole, which is called "Cliff Hanger". (This new location will appear in the next release of the North Central GPS Companion.)
